Hello everyone!
Happy New Years Eve. I decided to put together this fairly simply glam makeup look for the holiday. Hope you guys like it.
For the face:
Foundation -I mixed Revlon ColorStay for Normal/Dry skin in the shade Ivory with Maybelline Fit Me Dewy and Smooth in Porcelain.
Concealer – Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer in Fair Neutral.
Powder – I set under my eyes with the NYX Cosmetics HD Finishing Powder in Banana.
Bronzer – Too Faced Cosmetics Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer in Milk Chocolate (light/medium).
Blush –MAC Cosmetics Powder Blush in the shade Margin.
(Check out my review here: MAC Cosmetics Haul)
Highlight – I used the “browbone” color from the Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trio from the Walking on Eggshells set.
To set my face I used MAC Prep + Prime Fix+
For the eyes:
I primed my eyes with my concealer and then set it with theNYX Cosmetics HD Finishing Powder in Banana.
Transition – My new favorite.. Makeup Geek Cosmetics Peach Smoothie
Crease – I did a combination of Makeup Geek Cosmetics Crème Brulee and Cocoa Bear. Then I added in the shade Plum from my Stila Trust in Love Palette.
On the lid – Makeup Geek Cosmetics Foiled Eyeshadow in High Wire.
Mascara – I primed my eyelashes with Tarte MultiplEYE Lash Enhancing Primer . Then applied Too Faced Cosmetics Better Than Sex Mascara.
Featuring the star of the show: NYX Cosmetics Liquid Suede in Vintage
This is a beautiful fall shade! It is a deep purple/brown with hints of red. First off, I do like the packaging a lot. It is pretty simple, but still looks good. You can actually tell the shade from the packaging, unlike most liquid lipsticks. The formula is almost like their Matte Lip Creams, but it feels thicker to me. It does claim to be waterproof, but I find it transfers quite easily. I am in love with the doe foot application the bottle includes. Sorry, I didn’t post a photo! I did find the wear time to be longer than expected. I simply had to go in and touch up the middle of the lips, where it typically rubs off. Overall, it is a great shade. I think it would look amazing on all skin tones.
Everyone have an amazing New Year!
