Can we just take a moment to appreciate the beauty…I mean look at that gold. Everything about the packaging is simply STUNNING! I seriously do not even know if there is a palette out there with a better mirror. As soon as I heard Jaclyn Hill was doing another collaboration with Becca Cosmetics… I basically lost it. I knew immediately that I had to have it. Especially when I found out the palette was going to be limited edition. I originally purchased the Becca Cosmetics x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop when it released, and I fell in love with it.
Sadly, the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette is already out of stock online.. But it is still available in stores, so make sure to use the find in store feature to see if you can still get your hands on it.
A nice bonus is that Becca threw in a sample size of her famous Backlight Priming Filter. I have been wanting to try this, but I keep forgetting to. I do have high hopes though! Let me know if you want a review on it in the future.
Luminous Blush in Rosé Spritz (soft peachy pink with pale gold shimmer)
Mineral Blush in Amaretto (matte toasted almond)
Pamplemousse (matte warm coral pink)
Champagne Pop (soft white gold with pinky peach undertones)
Prosecco Pop (medium warm gold)
Rose Spritz is the best spring/summer shade! I love the pale gold shimmer to it. Amaretto is in between a blush and a bronzer/contour shade. I find it to look lovely on my fair skin in place of my contour and then I’ll layer the blush and highlight above it. Pamplemousse is a stunning intensely pigmented coral that I find perfect more for night wear.
My favorite way to use the palette is for my whole face.
I paired Rose Spritz on my lid as an eyeshadow, with some amaretto in the crease. I really am in love with the overall look. Unfortunately flash did not capture how beautiful the highlight looked in person. I love all the shades and think they’re going to look great on everyone who managed to their hands on it. The formula on them all is incredible. I get such long wear out of all the blushes and highlighters.
They key to this palette is that less is more. It only takes one extra dip in the blush to become too much too quick. Always remember to tap of the excess with this palette.
